Hello Craftin' Friends!

There's something for everyone. Do you want an experience that is simple, but allows you to make something beautiful. We have some brand new kits that you will just love. Are you a paper hoarder? We have gorgeous new Designer Series Paper to inspire you to create or hoard to your heart's content! Do you love colour? We have five new In-Colours of ink, cardstock, Designer Series Paper, ribbon and Faceted Dots to kickstart your creative juices. Contact me to receive your free copy.

Today I want to share with you one more card that showcases one of my favourite Designer Series Papers, Perennial Essence. This card was CASED from Audra Jewell Powell Monk, who shared her card on the Demonstrator Planning Page on Facebook. I have continued to love the Floral Essence Stamp Set, and so I've created another card using this combination of products. This card is a "hotdog" fold, with the Blackberry Bliss cardstock cut to 4 1/4" by 11", scored at 5 1/2". To create the card front, I've cut Petal Pink cardstock to 4" by 5 1/4". Next I added two papers from the Perennial Essence DSP pack - one floral paper using Blackberry Bliss/Crushed Curry/Petal Pink colours, and one more neutral pattern with just Petal Pink. The floral paper is cut to 1 1/2" by 5 1/8". The Petal Pink pattern is cut to 2 3/8" by 5 1/8". On the second patterned paper, I stamped the largest floral image from the stamp set in Petal Pink ink in the bottom right corner 3 times, allowing the image to run off the edge of the paper. (The bottom image is just barely there, but you can see one part of a petal.) After I cut some ribbon to look like a picture hanger, and stapled it at the top of the card front, I glued the card front to the Blackberry Bliss card base. The ribbon I used was leftover from the Occasions Catalogue, and no longer available, but there is a beautiful new Petal Pink ribbon that co-ordinates with this suite, or you could substitute the Whisper White Flax ribbon which are both available in the Annual Catalogue.

The focal piece of the card used the one of the flower stamps in Blackberry Bliss, with a Crushed Curry centre. I stamped this on Whisper White Cardstock and fussy cut the image out. I stamped the leaves onto a Stitched Shapes oval, then popped the flower up on dimensionals over the leaves. The Hey, Friend sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set, and stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink. The Stitched Oval was glued to a Blackberry Bliss scalloped oval from the Layered Ovals Dies, and popped up on dimensionals on the card front.

To complete the card inside, I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 4" by 5 1/4", then stamped the largest flower in Petal Pink ink inside the card to match the stamping in the lower right corner of the card front. No final sentiment was added to allow room for writing, but you could add another appropriate sentiment if you prefer to let the stamping speak for you.

Well friends, I have so many ideas for cards cooking in my brain that I need to stop writing and get creating! If you are local to where I live, there's a DIY Card/Scrapbooking Event at Friendship House from 1-5 pm this Sunday. It's not too late to RSVP and join us. Don't forget to check out my Facebook Live video tomorrow evening at 7 pm. Check out all of the new products by clicking on the SHOP link above. Also, please feel free to share my blog with your friends. It would be a pleasure to share my love of paper crafting with them as well.

Happy Crafting!
