Hello Pumpkin Halloween Cards

Hi again Craftin' Friends.

I'm excited to share some Halloween alternate cards using the September Paper Pumpkin Kit. Paper Pumpkin is a monthly subscription kit put out by Stampin'Up. Most months, the kits are designed to create cards, but sometimes the kits create other paper crafting projects. This month's kit was designed to create 20 Thanksgiving or Halloween treat packages. They're super cute, but I couldn't resist the chance to design some alternate cards.

The first card used the masking technique,  layering the images to create this jack-o'-lantern with a witch's hat. I had some fun with coordinating Stampin' Blend markers, which are available for purchase in my online store.

For the second card I used my Stamparatus to stamp in the round with the larger face image and the little flower stamp. This is such a fun technique! See my Facebook Live video for a tutorial on how to do this.

To get a cat die cut facing the opposite direction, I inked it up with my Memento ink. It took a few times pressing the pad down over the white side of the cat to get the nice dark black.

The third card used the cat die cut again.I started out intending to layer the white rectangle straight over the black layer, but they were laying on my work table on an angle and I liked the look, so...

For the final card I'm sharing today, I used a 1 3/4" by 4 1/4" piece of the striped part of one of the crackers, then cut it on the diagonal. This was matted with a Basic Black piece of cardstock 2 3/4" by 4 3/4". I stamped the Trick or Treat spooky and sweet! sentiment directly onto a piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock, then assembled the card as shown.

Now, decorating the inside of cards is certainly popular, so I've shown a couple ways that I decorated the inside of my Halloween Cards.
