Hello Friends!
Today I'm excited to share with you one of Stampin' Up!'s kits from our Kit Collection. Stampin' Up! is having a sale on their Kits Collection in June, buy one, get one 50% off. Our kits are perfect for beginning crafters, crafters on the go, or those who like to have a quick card available in a pinch.
The Robot Buddies Kit is designed to be for children, and also used by children. The cards in the kit are adorable. I just love how cute and easy it is to stamp the robots. The cards are perfect to have ready for children's birthdays. Why not have your child prepare the cards so they're ready when they receive a birthday invitation (is that happening yet, post COVID?)? The cards are suitable for boys or girls.
The cards come with extra stickers that can be used to decorate inside the cards.
Some of the cards are perfect for sharing with neighborhood friends or classmates. I couldn't resist adding a skinny mat of Bermuda Bay around this card.
There are also stamps that you can use to decorate inside the cards.Look how cute the little googly eyes are on the robot below! My grandchildren play tested this kit and I can't wait to share their cards with you! Alice is 7 years old and made a card for a friend at school. She chose to add sentiments from the Pansy Patch Stamp Set. I find it helpful when children are learning to ink the stamp for them, then let them stamp. This avoids "digging" into the ink pad and getting "halos" when stamping. As the child becomes more familiar with stamping they can take over the inking job. I gave Alice free rein to use the stickers and stamps however she chose.Inside the card she has one robot giving a bouquet to the other. So cute!Aedan is 5 years old, and he decided to make a card for his Dad. He selected sentiments from the Wildlife Wonder Stamp Set. This was a great chance for Aedan to practice printing his name. He also wrote Dad on the envelope. Sending cards is a great reason to do a little writing practice for kids of any age! It's always more fun to write for a "real" reason. Thanks for stopping by today. If you're thinking a card kit might be the right thing for you, be ready on June 1st to place your order in my online store. Kits are available while supplies last, so don't wait until the end of June to place your order.
