In addition to stops in Roatan, Honduras, Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico, and Georgetown, Grand Cayman, we had a wonderful time creating cards and boxes using the Wonderful Romance and Tea Together Bundles from the Occasions Catalogue. Julie Gilson, from https://stampingala.com, did a great job designing these projects and teaching us how to make them. If you'd like a peek at them, join me on Thursday for a Facebook Live video on my Craftin' Granny's Facebook Page. I believe Julie is planning a cruise again next year, so if you're interested, you might like to join her Stampingala Facebook Group to make sure you hear all about it.
I thought I'd start by sharing my swap for the cruise. I had a wonderful time creating this card which features Pearlized Doilies and the Petal Promenade DSP from the Annual Catalogue. The stamped images are from the First Frost Stamp Set and the die cut pieces are from the Frosted Bouquet Framelits Dies. I also used Blackberry Bliss, Smoky Slate and Whisper White Cardstock, and a bit of silver foil paper to add some bling!
Now I would like to share with you some of the swap cards I received from many of the crafters on the cruise. Some of the projects may use products that aren't Stampin' Up, but that just shows how our Stampin' Up products can enhance any craft supplies you already own.
This sunshine bright Z-fold card features the A Little Wild Stamp Set (Product #144344, co-ordinates with Little Loves Framelits Dies #143743) which I think is super cute for a baby card or a child's birthday. It is a retiring Stamp Set, so if it's on your wish list you'll want to place an order quickly. Just click the link at the top of the page to head to my Stampin' Up web store, My apologies for not giving credit to the designer, but I don't seem to have a name attached to this card.
The very pretty bridge card below folds flat to fit in a medium envelope. It features the Beautiful Promenade Suite of products. The Petal Promenade DSP has been a favourite of mine, with all of the photo realistic images on the paper. The sentiments from this card are from other stamp sets, but I do love the sentiments that are a part of this bundle. Thank you to Vicki Lozier for this beautiful swap!
Next, I want to share with you this beautiful card, designed by my table mate, Claudia Abrash. If you'd like to see more of her work, check out her blog page, time4stamping.com. Claudia has used Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist, and some retired Myths and Magic Glimmer Paper to create the focal point for her card. The background uses the popular Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder in Soft Sea Foam. Many framelits were used to create this focal point - Frosted Bouquet, Butterfly Beauty, Lovely Flowers, and Botanical Tags. The stamps are from Vibrant Vases and Varied Vases. A Stitched Shape Framelit, a touch of vellum, and a single rhinestone add the finishing touches to this beautiful card.
Lastly, this is your personal invitation to join me on Thursday evening at 7 pm for my Facebook Live video. Join me for some inspiration and stamping fun!
