Fun and Easy Cards with Christmas Crowd Stamp Set

Hello Friends.

Today I'm sharing three cards with you featuring the Christmas Crowd Stamp Set. I wanted to show you how a card with one main image can be used in different ways to create a different looking card.

The first card today uses the entire "Crowd" image from the set. I stamped this using Memento Tuxedo Black ink,die cut it with a Stitched Rectangle, then coloured it with Stampin' Blends. Of course, if you don't have the Stitched Rectangles, it's easy enough to cut a rectangle. I chose to use the Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Blends for my red and green, because I knew I wanted to pair this stamp set with the Wrapped In Plaid Designer Series Paper. Here's my first card, a landscape Z-fold card with a Cherry Cobbler base and some Shaded Spruce mats. For this card I used "here's a merry little hello" as my sentiment inside.

My second card used some of the green plaid from the same Wrapped In Plaid Designer Series Paper, some gold foil, and a Shaded Spruce card base. I stamped the entire "Crowd" image, then die cut using the largest Stitched Shapes square. I die cut the largest Layering Square out of my DSP, so that I could have some gold foil edging around my coloured image. I popped the DSP up using Stampin' dimensionals to give a picture frame look. Then I added the "Christmas Greetings FROM THE GANG" sentiment in Shaded Spruce with a bit of gold foil peeking out from behind.

For my final card, I stamped the entire "Crowd" image, then die cut with the largest Stitched Shape circle. This was matted with a Layering Circle scalloped die. I coloured some flax ribbon with my Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blend. I chose the holly pattern of DSP from the Wrapped in Plaid DSP for the front panel of my portrait Z-fold card.

Inside the card I used the "family and friends are the best part of Christmas" sentiment. Then I couldn't resist adding the car from the Holiday Haul Host set, because so many of us travel by car to see family over the holidays. Finally I stamped some Shaded Spruce "snowflakes". OK, I know snowflakes aren't green, but I'm claiming artistic license here!

Hope you liked this stamp set. I loved the cute images, and thought the sentiments really added some variety to my Christmas sentiment collection. If you'd like to purchase the products used in these cards, just click the Shop Now link above.
