Nature's Beauty with Feels Like Frost Class To Go

Hello my friends!

Today I'm so excited to share with you a Class To Go that I've been planning for some time. When I first saw the Holiday Catalogue for 2019, I loved the Feels Like Frost Paper. I was a little unsure what it would be like creating with that beautiful paper, but let me tell you it really does the work for you. Then when I got to the back of the catalogue and saw the Nature's Beauty Stamp Set, I knew I had to use it, even before I read about the promotion in support of Mental Health. Once I started creating with these products I couldn't stop, so I'm actually offering two classes to go, with registration and pre-payment running from Nov. 6 - 30th, and the classes being shipped during December. Now December being the Holiday season, please be aware that some of you may not receive your kit until January if your order is placed late in November. To complete the the classes you will need a Nature's Beauty Stamp Set, Stampin' Dimensionals, and Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. You may also wish to use Wink of Stella on the eyes of the stamped animal images. The first Class To Go also uses Light and Dark Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends. You can order these supplies through my on-line store by clicking the Shop Now link above. These cards do not have sentiments, although if desired, you could add them. I loved the soft look without sentiments. Also, each class kit includes an acetate box which you could use for gifting the cards if you so choose. When I was teaching, I used a ton of blank notecards to send home notes to parents. If you're thinking of making these cards for a teacher, be sure to get your order in early to ensure delivery before Christmas.

The first class available uses the Feels Like Frost papers that include a little Purple Posy in them. For the two cards on the left, I've used Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends (Light and Dark) to colour the animals. The card on the right was stamped on Crumb Cake coloured cardstock.

The card below was cased from stampinpretty.com. I just loved the use of the banner and scalloped edging!

This next card was also cased from a card I saw somewhere, but I was unable to go back and trace it. Thanks to someone for the idea of using the leaves from the Rooted in Nature Bundle with this paper.

I really love the soft muted look of the next card, and the fox sitting in the frame is really beautiful. To achieve the two levels of dimension, I used foam strips to pop up the frame, and Stampin' dimensionals to pop up the fox. Stampin' Up's foam strips are a little thicker than the dimensionals, so you have two levels. You could double up on dimensionals for the frame if you don't have foam strips, but they are so useful for shaker cards, as well as for cards with frames.

The final card in this class has some lovely sparkle with a bit of glimmer paper and some Purple Posy sequins. So beautiful!

The second Class To Go features paper from the Feels Like Frost DSP in blue tones and I think these cards might be a little more masculine.

The first card showcases a snowflake and a pine cone punched out from the Designer Series Paper. The snowflake was inked using Seaside Spray ink.

The second card uses some DSP with ice crystals in the image, so I added some die cuts from the First Frost Bundle and some rhinestones to add to the frosty image.

The third card in this kit is beautifully simple showcasing the deer with some Seaside Spray metallic ribbon.

And the final card in this class to go is simply stunning with winter trees cut from glimmer paper and silver foil paper.

You can order these Classes to Go for $15 each (plus shipping) by emailing me at kellyapulham@gmail.com. If you're ordering one or the other, please be sure to specify which kit you'd like. These cards will also be available as kits at the craft shows I'm participating in this month. I will be at Harmony United Church in Brantford, Ontario (268 Marlborough St.)  on November 23rd from 9 am to 1:30 pm and at the Milton Sports Centre (605 Santa Maria Blvd.) on November 30th from 10 am to 2 pm.

I hope you enjoyed the cards today. Why not leave me a comment telling me which is your favourite? Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Stamping!
