Everyday Hero Paper Pumpkin Alternate Cards

 Hello Craftin' Friends!

Do you ever have people in your life that you think just don't get enough recognition for the blessings they bring  into your life? Or maybe you've noticed someone who's feeling down and could use a little encouragement? Well the cards I'm sharing today are perfect for that purpose.

This month's Paper Pumpkin kit was designed to help us recognize the Everyday Heroes in our lives. Two of the cards I created are shown in detail on my most recent Facebook Live video. You can see it here.

For the first card, I used the trophy die cut and the sentiment "You're the best". You could use the "Kid" sentiment as I did, or there were other options in the kit (coach, teacher, friend).

The second card was specifically designed to be useful for many occasions - graduation, birthday, anniversary, etc. It's a fun shaker card, but the simple colour scheme makes it appropriate for adults.

The next card is bright and bold. It's an easel card, which is an easy to make fun fold card. This card could be for anyone you want to recognize as being exceptional.

In the final card for today, I inked the vellum die cuts with Bumblebee ink. The first card is my clean and simple version.

I also tried one with some of the star sequins to "bling it up". Which one do you prefer?

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope that you feel inspired to create, and also motivated to recognize those people in your life who give that little bit extra in whatever they do. Although the August Paper Pumpkin subscription deadline has passed, it's not too late to sign up for September's Kit. It is designed to create treat packages for Thanksgiving/Halloween/Fall, but of course, you can always create cards just by adding some co-ordinating cardstock. The kits are $30 plus tax (shipping included), and include a stamp set and ink spot. These kits are appropriate for all levels of experience with crafting. Here's the link to sign up for next month's kit

I hope you enjoyed the cards today. I would love to hear what you think or answer any questions you have about Paper Pumpkin.

Happy Crafting!
