Gather Together with Gilded Autumn DSP

Hello Craftin' Friends!

This week I have been seeing signs of fall starting to arrive. I was walking my dog seeing the children in my neighborhood head off for the first day of school since March and I had to pull out my denim jacket to ward off the chill in the morning air. On another morning walk I took this photo of a beautiful tree changing colour. It seems that Autumn is arriving.

With the changing of the seasons, I was inspired to play with the Gather Together Bundle. Those of you in the USA may find it a little early, but Thanksgiving in Canada comes early, October 12th this year, so it's not too soon for us. 

Three of today's cards are Clean and Simple, definitely doable for beginning crafters, provided that you have access to a die cutting machine. The final card involves heat embossing and colouring, so it involves more equipment and patience.

The first card is probably my favourite of the bunch. I love how the stamped image mimics the designer series paper. Thanks Stampin' Up! I added some ribbon from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack. This Very Vanilla ribbon is lovely to work with, but very soft, so it looked nicer when I didn't tie it too tight.

The next card used a combination of two designer series paper patterns. By using one of the more neutral designs with one of the more detailed patterns, they complement one another beautifully!

I couldn't resist adding the stamped leaf image inside.

The third card used some of the "gilded" designer series paper, but paired it with neutral colours for a quietly elegant look. Some of the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots and the gold trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack added the final touches to this Get Well card.

The final card today was Caused, but when I went back to find who the original creator was, I could not locate the source of my inspiration. My apologies to the original creator. With the gilded designer series paper, the gold heat embossing, the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots, gold and copper foil leaves, and the gold trim from the Boho Indigo Medley, this card just gleams!
