Hello Craftin' Friends.
Today I'm sharing cards with you using the Enjoy the Moment Stamp Set. This set was given to demonstrators who attended an online Stampin' Up Event back in November, and I confess that, although I loved the Stamp Set, I needed some creative inspiration from other demonstators. However, when I looked at the cards others had made, I saw that a lot of them were in brown tones. While I love my neutral colours, I felt that just using this set in brown tones didn't do it justice. So today, I have one card to share in brown tones, and the rest are in other colours. Hopefully this will help to more fully demonstrate the versatility of the set.
The first two cards I'm sharing today were created using the same card sketch, Mojo Monday #385 by Julee Tilman. I used the same colours and supplies, but switched up the layers and sentiments. I love the combination of Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry, and a little Crumb Cake. The wood look paper is from the In Good Taste DSP Pack. Which Card is your favourite? I'd love to hear!
For the next card, I went with a distressed look, because I think that this stamp set suits that type of card. This card used Crushed Curry, Memento Tuxedo Black and Basic White. I used the blending brushes to add some colour over the top of the Bark 3D Embossing Folder, my sentiment circle, and the stamped panel. It's been so long since I used my distressing tool, I couldn't find it in my craft room, so I used an exacto knife to rough up the edges of my paper. The crinkle ribbon was a perfect fit, as it has it's own distressed look. I carries the distressed edging and the colour over the stamped images on the inside of the card. Are you a fan of the distressed look?
For my Three Panel Flap Card, I did use the brown colours, because I really thought they looked best with the wood look DSP I chose, also from the In Good Taste DSP Pack. I watched a Tina Zinck tutorial for how to create this fun fold, and the card front was cased from Carole's Creative Corner.
I like the way this fun fold can fold flat, but also be displayed on a shelf with the side panels open. See my video tutorial of this card
here.
The last card for today is a quick and easy card which I cased from Nicole Mahler who had posted as a guest on Rachel Tessman's Blog, Stamp Your Art Out. This photo shows the card done in Old Olive, but my
video tutorial shows the card in Merry Merlot, again, to show you that this stamp set does work well in colour!
I hope these cards have demonstrated for you the versatility of this stamp set. I think it's a "must have" for nature lovers like myself. You can absoloutely see how it will work for masculine cards, birthday cards and friendship cards.
Thanks a bunch for stopping by today. Please invite your friends to have a look as well. If you're placing an online order this week in
