Paper Pumpkin Alternate Cards for The Great Adventure Kit

 Hi Friends!

I've got some fun alternate cards to share with you using The Great Adventure Paper Pumpkin Kit from July. This might just be my favourite kit of all time! I just love the colours and the theme.

You'll want to watch the replay of my Facebook LIVE tutorial showing how to create a beautiful blended background to fit inside the circle space on one of the cards. Yes, I used my highschool math and a compass. Does that make me a total geek? Well, I loved the technique. I hope you do too. Here's the card below.

The next card combines the Dragonfly Garden Bundle with the Paper Pumpkin Kit. I just had to add some extra nature themed products to go with this kit! This card is also shown in the tutorial video.

For the next card I added the deer from the Nature's Beauty Stamp Set. You can learn from my experience. You want to stamp the deer separately and cut out, not stamp directly onto the card, especially if colouring with Stampin' Blends, as they do show through on the back. The PEACE sentiment came from the November 2019 PP Kit, and inside I stamped TO YOU AND YOURS from the October 2020 PP Kit.

Sadly I'm often in need of Sympathy cards, so I added a sympathy sentiment from the Inpiring Thoughts Stamp Set with the Double Oval Punch.

I just loved the little trailer in this kit. It reminded me of camping with my girlfriend's family during highschool in their trailer. So this card had me thinking of that summer camping at Sauble Beach. I did add some retired blue twine to this card, but it could easily be replaced with some leftover black twine from a previous Paper Pumpkin Kit. In fact, I used a Night of Navy Card Base, but Basic Black would totally work as well.
I hope you liked my version of this month's kit. If you'd like to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin (a monthly  all inclusive Paper Crafting Kit from Stampin' Up), you can do that here. You can subscribe for next month's kit until August 10th. It will contain supplies to make 9 cards with co-ordinating envelopes and come in a keepsake box you can reuse to make a HOPE box. See the video about a HOPE box here.
Thanks for stopping by this week.

Happy Crafting!
