Hi Craftin' Friends!
Today I'm sharing a couple cards I created using the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set. Neither of these cards are in traditional sunflower colours (although I do love sunflowers in their usual hues). I decided to pair this stamp set with the Blackberry Beauty DSP today, which led to some different colour choices.
Card #1 Cinnamon Cider/Early Espresso
This card is really simple. I used a card by Vicky Wright for the basic layout. Although I did do some fussy cutting, I didn't colour the flower or the leaves. The leaves were stamped in Cinnamon Cider on Cinnamon Cider cardstock, and the flower is the same ink on Basic White cardstock. I coloured some Champagne Rhinestones with my Cinnamon Cider blend to add some bling. The sentiment was stamped on the cardstock for the card front, then the piece was embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.
Measurements:
- Cinnamon Cider cardstock 5 1/2" by 8 1/2" folded in half for card base plus scraps for leaves
- Basic White cardstock 2 pieces 4" by 5 1/4"- one for card front and one for card insert
- Basic White 3 1/2" square for stamping, then cutting out flower
- Blackberry Beauty DSP in Cinnamon Cider/Early Espresso 2" by 5 1/4"
Measurements:
- Blackberry Bliss cardstock 4 1/4" by 11" folded in half for the card base, plus a bit for the "flag" die cut from the Tasteful Labels Dies seen near the bottom left of the card
- Rich Razzleberry cardstock 4" by 5 1/4" for card front
- Basic White cardstock 4" by 5 1/4" for card insert, plus 3 1/2" square for the flower panel
- Polished Pink cardstock 1" strip to stamp sentiment then cut out by hand
- Blackberry Beauty DSP in small diamond pattern 2" by 4"
