Hello Craftin' Friends!
Today I'm sharing some really cute Halloween cards that I had such fun creating. I've never really sent Halloween cards, but now that I have grandchildren, I have a reason for making and sending them. The Cutest Halloween Bundle and the Cute Halloween DSP are perfect for my purpose, but would also be great for making treat packaging, or even just cards for some Halloween loving friends.
My first card was created using angled cut strips of dsp. Bruno Bertucci is the first person I saw using this technique, and it is definitely a winner! You can see my tutorial of how to make this card and the others I'm sharing today in the replay of my Facebook LIVE. Because technology can be challenging, this video is in two parts! Part 1 Part 2
The black glitter organdy ribbon was a perfect complement to this card (see above). The circles for the sentiment are from the Layering Circles Dies. Below you can see how I stamped the skeletons inside the card and I think they look as if they're laughing at a Halloween joke!
My second card was CASED from A Sense of Uma, who said she got the idea from her upline Julie Kettlewell. She used Hand Penned DSP for her card, but I think it worked really well with the Cute Halloween DSP as well. The die cut for my sentiment came from the Painted Labels Dies, and my sweet little ghost was punched from the DSP.The materials used to make these cards can be purchased in my online store. If placing an order less than $200 please use Host Code HR6SK3RK.
