New Catalogue time is so exciting with Stampin' Up! Our July to December Mini Catalogue has just launched along with a Sale-a-bration Brochure for July and August. Why is this so exciting?
#1 Great Products - Stampin' Up! always has fabulous products, but my very favourite products always seem to come in this holiday mini.
#2 Great Deals - Sale-a-bration time means that for every $60 or $120 you spend on any current products you earn free items from the Sale-a-bration Brochure.
#3 Extra special rewards for hosting a party - earn free products and/or purchase exclusive products available only to hosts.
#4 Bonus join deals - when you sign up to be a demonstrator, you get free shipping on your $135 starter kit (made up of products you choose) plus an extra $30 of product that you choose free. During Sale-a-bration, you also receive the Making Plans Collection free. Get yourself organized with this planner, extra notebooks and stamp set.
My July to December Mini Catalogue and the Sale-a-bration Brochure walk through ended up being in two parts due to "data" problems. See Part A. See Part B.
I had a great time creating two cards using some of the free Sale-a-bration items. The first card used the absolutely adorable Hippest Hippo Stamp Set and the Hippo Dies. For this card I used the largest die from the Seasonal Labels Dies to create a window in my DSP from the Happy Forest Friends pack.
Inside the card I stamped another hippo with a second sentiment.Measurements:Calypso Coral Cardstock 5 1/2" by 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Basic White Cardstock 3 7/8" by 5 1/8" for behind dsp, 4" by 5 1/4" for inside card
Scraps of So Saffron, Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz for die cutting umbrella, glasses, and grass
DSP 4" by 5 1/4" with large die from Seasonal Labels Die cut to make "window" for card front
Colours of Stampin' Blends used:
Hippo Gray Granite Light and Dark
Tutu So Saffron Dark
Toe Shoes and Fingernails Calypso Coral Light
Flower So Saffron Dark
Leaf Old Olive Light
The next card uses the Wonderful World Sale-a-bration combo of DSP and Stamp Set. This bundle is so beautiful I really wanted to showcase both the DSP and the flowers! I added sentiments from the Honeybee Home Stamp Set. This fun fold card is simple to make and absolutely beautiful! I did use my Stamparatus to help with stamping the flowers in two colours. By positioning by stamp and paper, I could ink the flower in Orchid Oasis and use my shammy to wipe off any ink that got on the leaves/stem. I stamped the flower section, then repeated the process for the stems. This time I inked the stem in Pear Pizzazz and made sure to wipe away any ink that got on the flower part of the image.
Measurements:I kept the card front super simple. The sentiment label is from the Painted Labels Dies. I chose this because I didn't have a current punch to use LOL!
When closed, the card front is raised up a bit due to the fancy folds, but this card will also stand up just fine and has enough space for writing inside.Basic White Thick cardstock 5 1/2" by 10 3/4", scored at 3 1/4", 4", 5 1/4", 9 1/2"
Basic White cardstock 3" by 5 1/4" & 4" by 5 1/4" for inside panels, piece for sentiment label
DSP pattern 1 (floral) 3" by 5 1/4"
DSP pattern 2 (vertical pattern) three pieces 1" by 5 1/4", two pieces 1/2" by 5 1/4"
Orchid Oasis 1/8" Metallic Ribbon about 12", trim to size needed
The Hippest Hippo Stamp Set and Hippo Dies are available free with a $120 order, or individually with a $60 order. The Wonderful World Bundle is also available free with a $120 order, but don't delay as all Sale-a-bration items are available while supplies last and these items are popular! Please use Host Code VJQYMS2A for orders less than $200. Get your Sale-a-bration deals here.
Happy Crafting!
