Hello Craftin' Friends!
I fell in love with the Queen Bee Bundle after seeing Laura Milligan share her ideas with this set at OnStage. The stamp set and the dies that co-ordinate with it provide so many possibilities for different types of cards. The flowers on the bee are so pretty, and the dies include additional flower and greenery options as well as a label die. This past Thursday I shared the video tutorial for today's card on my Facebook Page. This card simply had the sentiment "Happy" on the front, because I felt that it made the card suitable for different occasions.I could add a written note on the inside to add birthday or anniversary greetings, a happy to know you note, or even just a happy day note. Sometimes we try to be so specific with our sentiments but a more generic sentiment can be just the thing to ensure you have a card in your stash for the occasion that comes up.
I used the Country Gingham DSP with today's card. I love creating with gingham paper, and this set of paper gives you a variety of patterns and colours including Balmy Blue, Mint Macaron, Petal Pink, and Sweet Sorbet. Aren't the little hearts in the center of the flowers cute! The heart is also in the die set.
Inside the card I stamped the flowers, again, leaving the purpose for the card wide open. A little extra DSP makes the envelope look as special as the card. Join me next Tuesday January 10th on my Craftin' Granny's Facebook Page for another card using the Queen Bee Bundle.
