Today I have a surprise for you. Craftin' Granny's has a guest designer! A little over a week ago I was at a crop with my sister, Nancy Ross. She has been loving the "Vases" stamp sets.
The first card features the Varied Vases Stamp Set with simple outline stamping and a sweet scripted sentiment. The brand new Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder looks fantastic in the new In-Colour, Terracotta Tile. The use of Stampin' dimensionals adds depth, making the recessed stamping look even more like a vase on a windowsill. The window frame was created using the Layering Squares dies. I love the beautiful simplicity of the Terracotta Tile and White!
The second card uses Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper to punch out some beautiful vases with the Vases Builder Punch. Don't those vases just look like they were created by an artist! This card also showcases the Bricks and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder, and combines stamps from the Varied Vases and the Vibrant Vases Stamp Sets. These sets work together beautifully. The frame is made using the Stitched Rectangle Framelits.
The third card featured today uses both stamp sets as well, but exhibits a stepped up card using an extra black mat, and some colouring with Stampin' Blends. A tip to get the window ledge stamp straight - lay the stamp on your grid paper or trimmer along a line to make it straight, then pick it up on your block. This will save some time and frustration. I do the same thing with sentiments to make stamping in a straight line easier.
Hope you've enjoyed the cards today. If you did, leave a comment to give Nancy some love! Also, the supplies mentioned today are available in my store by clicking on the SHOP button.
If you're not already following my Facebook Page, I hope you'll take a moment to like and follow it. I do Facebook Live videos every Thursday evening at 7 pm. sharing some paper crafting fun. This week will feature a mini-pizza box decorated for gift giving.
