Gorgeous Leaves Cards for Fall

 Hello Craftin' Friends!

Do you ever have purchases that you're really glad you made? Well I'm so glad that the Gorgeous Leaves Bundle made it's way to my house. The cards I'm sharing today use Gray Granite, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Vellum cardstock, and a little bit of the darkest shade of Silver Foil from the July to December Mini Catalogue. I was so pleased with how the cards turned out using my colour scheme. The measurements are below, but you can also see the video tutorial here. Let me know what you think!

For the first card I used Freshly Made Sketches # 156 as my template. Since the Gorgeous Leaves Stamp Set doesn't include sentiments, I borrowed a sentiment from the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set.

Measurements:

  • Basic White Thick Cardstock 5 1/2" by 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
  • Early Espresso Cardstock 2 pieces cut to 4" by 5 1/4", 1 piece cut to 1 1/8" by 3 5/8" embossed with Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, scrap for die cutting the twig
  • Basic White Cardstock 3 7/8" by 5 1/8", plus scrap for stamping leaf
  • Gray Granite Cardstock 1 1/2" by 3", plus scrap for die cutting leaf
  • Vellum Cardstock for third largest circle in Layering Circle Dies
  • Bloom Where You're Planted DSP brick pattern cut to 3 7/8" by 5 1/8"
  • Small piece of darkest silver foil for leaf
  • Linen Thread to tie a small bow
My second card was CASED from Patsy Waggoner at Stamps To Die For. I loved the way she used the texture stamps from the Stamp Set, so I changed up the colours to suit my colour scheme. For this card the sentiments came from the Pansy Patch Stamp Set.
Measurements:
  • Gray Granite Cardstock 5 1/2" by 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
  • Cherry Cobbler Cardstock for die cutting large leaf
  • Early Espresso Cardstock 2 pieces cut to 3 7/8" by 5 1/8", plus a scrap for die cutting the twig

  • Vellum Cardstock for die cutting the second largest circle from the layering circle dies
  • Small piece of the darkest silver foil for leaf
  • Linen thread to tie a small bow
The final card today was CASED from loritamariecrafts.com. Thank you for sharing your card on Pinterest! For this card I used a sentiment from the In The Moment Stamp Set, which will be available to customers in January 2022. I received this stamp set because I registered for OnStage, a Stampin' Up! Event for Demonstrators. Getting new products early is one of the perks of being a demonstrator!

Measurements:
  • Early Espresso Cardstock 5 1/2" by 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4", a second piece 3 1/2" by 4 3/4" from which I die cut the second largest circle from the Layering Circle Dies
  • Gray Granite Cardstock 4" by 5 1/4", a scrap to cut the large maple leaf, plus a 3/8" strip for stamping the sentiment
