Hello festive crafters - this is Katie Pulham with some creative Christmas inspiration for you! Today I'd like to share this trio of Christmas ornaments I made using the Birds & Branches stamps (158281) and Birds & More dies (152721), the Christmas to Remember stamps (156300), and the layering circles dies (151770).
First I used the Birds & More die to create a delicate, branching detail around the edge of a 2 7/8" circle. To glue this delicate piece of paper I put it front down on a silicone craft sheet (127853), and with a sponge dauber (133773) I dabbed multipurpose liquid glue (110755). On the red and green ornament, I also added an extra branch from the Birds & More dies.
After gluing the layers of the circle together, I added a bird and a sentiment, using dimensionals (144108) to add depth and interest; for some of the sentiments, I simply used my Snips (103579) to cut them out. To poke the hole through the top of the ornament for the ribbon I used my Take Your Pick (144107). Also, on each of the ornaments, I used heat embossing which requires Versa mark (102283), embossing powders, and a heat tool (129053).
Below each image is a list of the other tools and supplies used for the ornament.
