Hello Craftin' Friends!
Today I've two cards to share with you using the Easter Friends Stamp Set, the Color and Contour Bundle, and the Sweet Talk DSP. I also used the Detailed Trio Punch (retiring) on one card. You can see the video tutorial for these cards here.
The first card is quite simple, although I did use the Contour Dies to give it a special feel. By stamping on the die cut and adding a scalloped edge, the card looks fancy even though it was not at all difficult.
Inside the card I added a spot for a gift card.
Measurements:
- So Saffron Card Base 5 1/2" by 8 1/4", score 4 1/4" along longer edge
- Basic White cardstock 3 1/4" by 5 1/2"; 3 1/2" by 4 3/4" for die cutting
- DSP 3/4" by 5 1/2"
- 3 basic rhinestones
The second card is a Dutch Door Fun Fold. Again, this card is not difficult to do, although it has a few more layers.
Inside the card I added a bloom from the Color and Contour Stamp Set to go along with the sentiment "may your days blossom with joy and happiness". For the flower I just stamped the outline in Blushing Bride, and stamped off once to make the second stamp a little lighter.
Measurements:
- Blushing Bride Cardstock 8 1/2" by 11"; after cutting out the 2 3/4" by 4 1/4" piece, trim it to 4 1/16"' 7/8" by 3 5/8"
- Highland Heather Cardstock 4" by 5 1/4", 2 1/2" by 4", 2 9/16" by 3 7/8"
- Basic White Cardstock 3 7/8" by 5 1/8"; 2 3/4" by 4" for die cutting; 3/4" by 3 3/8"
- about 10-12" White Glittered Organdy Ribbon
- 3 Elegant Gems
I absolutely love the chicks, duckling and bunny images in this stamp set. Which is your favourite?
